CLEAN 1940s Epiphone Electar Zephyr Tube Guitar Amplifier Art Deco Maple Amp
This professional caliber early 1940s Epiphone Electar Zephyr Model Tube Guitar Amplifier is a real stunner. It is super clean and sounds good, although is has a slight hum. It was made in the early 1940s in New York by the original Epiphone Company. The amp features its original Rola brand speaker. The natural lacquer-finished laminated maple body is extremely well preserved. It's a real closet classic and still retains its extremely rare canvas luggage-style cover.

The plug and cable were upgraded to a grounded 3 prong style. (The original cable is included.) A couple caps were replaced about 15 years ago when the plug was swapped. The pots are a bit scratchy but function and turn freely. The vibrato channel is currently not functioning. It also seems to loose a bit of power over time. This is apparently a common issue with these amplifiers.
