The Electar Model C was Epiphone's first attempt at a lower-priced steel guitar, first offered at the end of 1936. This guitar features a mahogany body and neck with a sunburst-finished maple cap and rosewood fingerboard. This is a good-looking, simple, and effective steel and a nice piece of early Epiphone history.

Overall length:31 in. (78.7 cm.), 9 1/16 in
Lower Bout: (23 cm.)
Rim Depth: 1 3/8 in. (3.5 cm.)
Scale Length: 22 1/2 in. (572 mm.)
Nut Width 2 in. (51 mm.)

It’s in nice but well used condition. It has some of the typical Epiphone binding shrinkage from this era. Electronics are as shown. Early versions had only volume. Later examples had tone as well. This one has a second capped hole but seems to have never had a pot in place. The pickup is a little weak, but sounds great! It's a fun and rare little steel guitar that is ready to be played. Includes original case.
