This allows for a powerful, full bodied sound. Pickups of this era are widely regarded as being among the finest sounding lap steel guitars in Gibson history, in addition to being one of the first successful electric instruments.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThe CC pickup was only available on the EH’s earliest configurations.
