It sports the Rickenbacher T-style logo on the headstock. Around this time, Rickenbacker changed spellings from the original Rickenbacher, and this would have been one of the last before that change. This guitar features the early metal off-white enameled inserts, which replaced the extremely fragile celluloid plates from the late depression era just before. It also features a patented tailpiece for easy string swapping. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis example is in nice shape and remains in largely original condition. It has a few light marks here and there from normal use and some light pitting on the pickup magnets and bridge area \/ tailpiece. The tuners work well. One is an era replacement and blends nicely. The 1 1\/4 Horseshoe pickup is strong and sounds wonderful. One bridge screw at the heal is a replacement. Comes with an original era Ric. chipboard case that needs a handle and a little stitching.
